Lars Oddsson, PhD., is a scientist and an expert on how the brain controls balance and on how we can improve balance function through physical training with or without technology. He is faculty at the Medical Device Innovation program at the Technological Leadership Institute, Adjunct Professor in the Program in Rehabilitation Sciences of the Medical School, both at the University of Minnesota, and Visiting Professor at the Ben-Gurion University, Faculty of Health Sciences in Israel. He is President and Co-founder of RxFunction Inc., a medical device start-up that manufactures Walkasins, a wearable sensory prosthesis for balance.
